Who we are

TchoAI ("we", "us") provides an AI presentation tool available at tcho.ai. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
• Content you provide. The prompts you write, the files you upload (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, Markdown, text, and images), and the presentations generated from them.
• Integration credentials. If you connect Stripe or PostHog, we store the API key you supply so we can read the data you asked us to bring into your presentations, along with the results of those requests.
• Billing data. Subscription status and plan. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Usage data. Product events (pages viewed, presentations created, features used), device and browser information, and error reports.

How we use it

• To provide the service: generating, editing, and exporting your presentations.
• To operate your account, subscription, and billing.
• To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
• To detect abuse and keep the service secure.
• To respond when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your presentations for advertising.

AI processing

Generating and editing a presentation requires sending your prompts and the content of the files you attach to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google), which process them to return the slides. Do not upload material you are not permitted to share with these providers.

Who we share it with

We use the following processors, each only for the purpose listed:

• Convex: application database and backend.
• Google: sign-in.
• Stripe: payments and subscription management.
• PostHog (EU): product analytics and error reporting.
• OpenAI, Anthropic, Google: AI generation and editing.
• [Storage provider]: file and image storage.
• [Hosting provider]: application hosting.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

Retention

We keep your account data and presentations for as long as your account is open. When you delete an integration, its stored credentials are removed. When you close your account, we delete your content within [30] days, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. Write to contact@tcho.ai and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to measure product usage. You can block cookies in your browser, though the service may not work correctly without the necessary ones.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
