Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and [Legal entity name], [Registered address] ("TchoAI", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

2. The service

TchoAI generates and edits presentations from the prompts, files, and connected data you provide, and lets you export them as PDF or PPTX. We may change, add, or remove features over time. If we materially reduce a feature you are paying for, we will tell you.

3. Your account

You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

4. Plans, credits, and payment

Paid plans and their prices are listed on our website. Generating and editing presentations consumes credits, which are granted according to your plan. Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Unused credits do not carry over between periods and are not refundable. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the files you upload and the presentations you create. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to store your content, process it, and send it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy so that a presentation can be produced.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights or breach any confidentiality obligation you are under.

6. AI-generated output

Presentations are produced by AI models and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing output before you rely on it or share it. Similar prompts may produce similar results for other users, so we cannot promise that output is unique to you.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to break the law or infringe others' rights.
• Upload malware, or attempt to breach, overload, or probe our systems.
• Resell or redistribute the service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Automate access in a way that circumvents plan limits or credit consumption.
• Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or designed to deceive.

8. Third-party integrations

If you connect a third-party service such as Stripe or PostHog, you confirm you are authorised to grant that access. We read only the data needed to build your presentations, and you can disconnect an integration at any time from your dashboard. We are not responsible for third-party services themselves.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law, with notice where it is reasonable to give it.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give reasonable notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], and the courts of [Jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
